Work Experiences/Areas of Interest

Dr. Emtman is Board Certified in general psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. She is a Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. In her role as associate program director, she oversees the resident didactic curriculum and interdisciplinary quality improvement education. She is interested in optimizing quality of life for individuals with moderate to severe neurocognitive disorder, quality improvement and patient safety.

Current Clinical Work:

Boise VA Medical Center in the outpatient clinic and geriatric psychiatry consultation to inpatient, Community Living Center and Idaho State Veterans Home settings.
